on the famous 1970's range made known by John Entwhistle, now used by countless
touring bands such as Coldplay, The Hives, Supergrass and Franz Ferdinand.
Completely made by hand, pointo to point wiring and construction, these
are the real deal in British Bass Amplifiers.
Designed to the same specification and construction
as DR201 and DR405 respectively, the HIWATT Custom 200 and 400 feature
KT-88 power tubes for the optimum level in output (4 x KT-88 in Custom
200, 6 x KT-88 in Custom 400), 4 x ECC-83 tubes in the preamp section (add
1 x ECC-81 in the Custom 400), and Partridge transformers. Adjustable 4,
8 & 16 ohm output impedance.
