The Alumitones sonic evaluation -
More Bass than traditional single coils. However, because they also have a bit more volume (output) you may also lower the bass side down to match the bass response of a true single coil pickup and output.

The Mids are slightly more than a stock single coil pickup.
The Highs are very clear, and the pickup chimes with bell-like tones just like those that come from the best original single coil pickups.

With a 5-position switch they provide surprisingly very nice Stratty in-between tones.

Overdriving the pickup brings out its great performance, as it cuts through the mix and excels where most single coils start to run off. Also the sustain qualities are way above that of single coils.

Note: TranSensor® designs are unique unto themselves and cannot be used in tandem with other pickup designs or brands. They are designed to be wired in sets or solo only.

Pickguard note: Alumitones require a rectangular cutout, simple modification is usually required.
